They are really a part of who I am.
A culture that many take for granted, or don’t even wonder about.
They come in so many shapes and sizes.
Providing windows of opportunity on the daily.
Spares should always be an option.
But they don’t need to look the same.
However, they should be up to date and individualized.
When they are lost a world of confusion arises.
And compensating can be straining.
Recreational activities can be a thing.
But a game is played when shared with others.
Walking in another’s moccasins, so to say.
Intelligence and dorky are common identifiers.
A couple of months ago, I told a friend, “It must be really hard for a person living with a disability. ”
And the next day, I lost my glasses.
